Just finished watching the entire 6 episodes of Agatha Raisin recorded over Christmas. Brilliant.

Back to reality. The car needs servicing, back to college, bills are all coming in. And not a twinkling light or Christmas pressie in sight. Ho hum!

Christmas comes but once a year. Shame!

Been feeding a stray young male cat for about 5 months now. He's quite friendly but won't come inside the house. Imagine my surprise the other day when my little cat was sitting outside the door for breakfast with 3 of his friend i.e. a black and white fluffy, a ginger tabby, a black and white all sitting in a row waiting to be fed! Didn't know there were so many cats in the area.

How many times a day do you shed a tear?
How often do you feel abandoned by a friend or family?
How many times do you count the wrongdoings imposed on you?
Or the times your heart is broken?

How often do you count your blessings?

Beauty comes not from the physical alone but also from the spirit within.

You reach a time when you have to question that liar, fight your corner, follow your dream. You alone have to do these things because no one else will do them for you.

The beautiful Torc water at Muckross House in Co Kerry. Love this place. Visited here is the summer when there was the drought. Hardly any water was falling. People were walking across the waterfall. Needless to say there's been a lot of rain since and the waterfall is back to full flow.

I hate the uncertainty of when the stars are disposing of the past to make way for the new.  Life seems to be in turmoil. People falling back. Doors being closed faster than new ones new ones opening. Enough to make you doubt the path you've chosen. Do you continue into the new alone or stay in the old with those you know?

Let there a candle to light your way through the darkest nights of winter.
