It seems our ability spell has changed from the ability to recognised the order of letters in a word to the ability to press a button
We have had the hottest summer on record.
The sunniest days.
The driest months.
Hardly a breathe of air.
Then why? oh why? The minute we pack up the tent to go camping in Galway the wind howls, the rain falls in torrents, the temperatures plunge.

If you take for granted those who live for you before long they will live for someone else
It's not the number of friends you care to have but the number of friends who care for you

The greenhouse is full of ripening tomatoes
The shops are having their sales
Back to school equipment is everywhere
Temperatures are soaring
Must be August!
People lie to you not only in what thy say but also in what they don't say
My garden is buzzing with bees.
